Since its establishment in 1999, Fiji Pine Trust has been the trusted bridge between pine landowners and Fiji Pine Limited, safeguarding landowner rights while fostering equitable benefit-sharing, enterprise, and capacity building. Over the past two decades, it has grown from a shareholder representative into a key development partner, supporting the sustainable growth of Fiji’s pine industry. With 85,615 hectares of leased land, 38 Extension Pine Schemes, and emerging opportunities in value addition, carbon and climate finance, downstream processing, and eco-tourism, Fiji Pine Trust continues to play a vital role in unlocking the full potential of this national resource.

After 2 Decades the Fiji Pine Trust Office in Nabou was officially re-opened by Deputy Conservator of Forest Mr. Tevita Bulai. Ticking off another box in it's strategic mission and adding another milestone as we head into the future. In his speech Mr. Bulai emphasized the importance of having Transparency, Service, Co-ordination and Commitment and also to enhance livelihood of Landowners and to strengthen relationships between FPT, FPL and Landowners. The re-opened and re-furbished office will serve as the point of contact for the landowners from Nadi, Nabou and Navosa making it easier for them to get information regarding their land instead of making the long trip to Drasa where the main FPT office is located.

Culminating the event the Mr. Bulai handed over a cheque to the 2025 Skipper Champion Team Malolo for planting 20 hectares of land with Pine and a tour of the Nabou Nursery.
